Abstract: | Filter plays an important role in most radio frequency and microwave applications. Emerging applications such as wireless communications continue challenging radio frequency and microwave filters performance with even more stringent requirements, higher performances, smaller size, lighter weights and low cost. Depending on the requirement and specifications, filter can mainly be designed with lumped or distributed elements. This project describes the design narrow band bandstop microstrip filter using open circuited stubs. This project represents the design and simulation of narrowband bandstop filter using microstrip which is designed to have a center frequency of 2.4GHz. The design is simulated by using Advanced Design System software |
