dc.description.abstractIn this project report, it will show why the chassis design of a go-kart is considered one of the key component used by mechanical design engineers to compete with other go-kart. In order to investigate the structural properties of the chassis design, a detailed numerical test has been conducted by means of finite element analysis (FEA) calculation software. Competition vehicles optimization requires a knowledge of physical phenomena involved. To have a quantitative idea of actual track performance, structural analysis been conducted. In this project report, it will focusing on the design and develops of chassis for a go-kart not only for it rigid and strong appearance but also considering the structural study for the chassis. The optimized mathematical model has been used for the analysis of the sensibility of the performances to the manifold factors, with the purpose to define the best configuration for the maximum toughness of the chassis.en_US
