Abstract: Improper slope analysis design might cause slope failure which has been acknowledge as one of the most frequent disaster that can lead to great loss of properties and life. There are many types of slope stabilization that can be applied to overcome the disaster occur to determine the best method of solution. The factor that must be taking care in selecting the right method is by considering the effect of the method towards the stability of the lope and the cost of applying the best method must give a great value of factor of safety (FOS) which indicates the stability of the slope with low cost. This issue needs to be solved in order to ensure the public safety that will involves government together with geotechnical engineer and contractors. The design of the slope stability should be improved with the latest technology plus the used of correct analysis by the geotechnical engineer. Slope failure such as physical condition, geological condition, and ground water condition may lead to loss of ground anchor integrity, gradual failure and in worst case even sudden shear failure of the structure in which could endanger line and properties of the public. The research is aim to analyze using SLOPE/W Software. This study has several objectives to be achieved based on analysis ground anchor for slope stabilization. The two main objectives of this study are to determine the value of FOS for slope before and after applied the ground anchor. Besides that, to analyze and compare the value of FOS based on the inclination of the anchor for method of slices.
