Abstract: Nowadays people are paying more attention to the sustainability in construction and to improve the quality of the concrete using recycle or waste product. As in this research, the fine aggregates in concrete are replace with the rubber band. The rubber band is replacing the fine aggregates that use in the concrete. Rubber band usually will be thrown away after used. To establish the concrete production, the slump test, compression test and water absorption test at different values of rubber band replace were tested. The used of rubber band is 5%, 10% and 15% from the volume of the sand. The concrete cubes used in the research are size 100 mm x 100 mm x 100 mm. From the result, the optimum of rubber band can be replaced is 5% of the volume of fine aggregates and more rubber band added, the lower the value of water absorption.
