This paper consist of two major part, which is software and hardware design. The hardware part is to design a heart beat sensor by using the photo transistor to detect the human blood. The software part consists of application program to analyze the typical Electrocardiography (ECG) waveform of human heartbeat by using MATLAB software tools. The Matlab Gui will get the input signal from the heart rate sensor throught the input of the audio jack. The advantages of this projects are cheaper and easy to operate. The results shows that the device can accuracy by monitor and senseing the heart beat with 70% accuracy.en_US
