Solar energy is the conversion of sunlight into electricity either directly or by the usage of photovoltaic (PV). Equipments now days are being interfaced with the photovoltaic (PV) system mainly for the purpose of saving the consumer’s money and towards green technology. This project is carried out with the same purpose which is to save unnecessary energy being consumed by electrical toys. This remote control solar car model is an initial test device for an ongoing major research on solar cars. As we know toys now days are made by means of electrical charging. This causes unnecessary electrical energy usage for merely a toy, thus the idea of a remote control solar car that uses not only free energy by solar but also charges as it is use. Investigation shows that this solar car model has a minimum charging rate of 2 and half hour compared to the conventional remote control car which has 3 hours charging rate. As for duration of use, it has longer time which is more than 4 hours compared to the conventional device which is 2 hours max. The best thing about the solar remote control car is it charges as it is played and save’s 20 W of power that the conventional remote control car needs to charge the batteries.en_US
