Abstract: Study of slope stability is important for further purposed in construction and other infrastructure. Assessment stability on man-made slope is essential part because man-made slope exists all over the world. The objective of this study is to identify the parameter of soil for man-made slope, to evaluate the stability of man-made slope under influence of slope and to analyse the safety of factor of man-made slope by using software GEOSTUDIO-slope/w. In this study, the sample soil taken at man-made slope area was investigated to determine the unit weight, cohesion and phi angle of soil. In order to identify a parameter that want to be used, the laboratory test carried out which is grain size analysis, unit weight determination test and unconfined compression test. From the data obtain, running software with the different of angle inclination. Then, safety factor was determined by utilizing it to determine whether is save or not to apply it in slope construction.
