An induction motor is a type of alternating current motor where power is supplied to the rotor by mean of electromagnetic induction. This project focuses on the investigation 50-60 pieces induction motor based on no load test, blocked rotor test and DC resistance test. First of all, it will start simulate the induction motor by using Motorsolve software. The simulation is consists of losses segregation, power factor and efficiency of the induction motor. After that the induction motors will do the experiment based on no load test, blocked rotor test and DC resistance test. No load test will be done without any load connected to the induction motor. Parameter of current, power, power factor and speed of the motor are recorded. For blocked rotor test, the rotor will be clamp to make the rotor is stationary. DC resistance test has to done to determine the winding resistance. The losses segregation and efficiency of the induction motor can be determined after done the 3 tests. Finally, the total losses that obtained from the experiment results is 243.649W or 43 percent. Therefore the overall efficiency of the induction motor is 57.19 percent.en_US
