Fifty years ago, a wind power industry did not exist. Today, it not only exists but it flourishes. This development is surprising because it has involved the spread of a radical new technology through a sector that is historically both very risks averse and characterized by high barriers to entry. This project is to setup a complete system for a wind generator system. The main purpose of the project is to generate power from the wind flow which is the input for the system. Wind is simply air in motion. It is caused by the different heating of the earth's surface by the sun. Wind energy can use to produce electricity and one of a renewable energy resource. The objectives of this project are to study and research the possibility of wind generator and develop it into a complete system which can be used to generate electrical energy from wind. The study about energy conversion efficiency and how to obtain a enough DC voltage to charge a battery also need to be considered. Besides that, a rechargeable battery is used to store charge of electrical energy from the wind generator and to control the power output from this wind turbine generator such as voltage regulator and charge controller also was studied in this project.en_US
