Abstract: Ergonomics has traditionally been used to improve the workers’ performance by discovering the factors that contribute to their performance. Many organizations are forced to consider effects of environmental factors towards their workers’ performance in terms of safety and efficiency. In ergonomic, the environmental factor is one of the most important factors that should be emphasized. This paper presents the results of an extensive literature review on the influenced of lighting, temperature and humidity towards workers’ performance. This paper also tries to obtain the gap between the previous and current study related to the influence of this two factors towards workers’ performance. The study begins by conducting a review on previous literatures by writers, researchers and experts in the field that are related to the influence of environmental factors towards workers’ performance. This literature review will provide a basis for future related study to obtain an optimum environmental factor towards workers’ performance. Finally the paper will discussed the gap between the current and previous studies thus open an opportunity for conducting a new research in this area.
