dc.description.abstractEconomic activity in Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) is on fast developing in Negara Asia. Careful examination on real workplace situation is very important. Risk assessment is an activity which is proving effective in helping manage occupational safety in organization. Most employers in the medium enterprise are less concerned about the welfare and safety of workers. This study aimed to see ergonomics concept application in all area of work or assignment done manually by employee at Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) namely Batik and Craft Trading. Nordic questionnaire was being conducted in early stage to identify limb frequent experience pain. RULA and REBA method will be used to know risk level per employee. Each data evaluated and appropriate changes were proposed. Table has been designed according to ergonomic specifications to solve problems arising in Batik and Craft Industry. RULA and REBA method were used again to assess the effectiveness of the changes that have been carried out. The results showed positive changes. RULA data shows a decline from a high risk to low risk 67%, while REBA data decreased by 80%. This study is expected to help the company to save costs, compensation health and care of the workersen_US
