Abstract: This research addresses the application of lean manufacturing concepts to the continuous process sector with a focus on the production manufacturing plant. The goal of this project is to make an improvement by applying Value stream mapping, Kanban & Pull system manufacturing. Value stream mapping is used to first map the current state. Then it used to identify sources of waste and to identify lean tools to try to eliminate this waste. The future state map is then developed for a system with lean tools applied to it to quantify the benefits gained from using lean tools and techniques in the value stream mapping. By applying Kanban system, the efficiency of production was increase and in the same time decreases both type of waste, the inventory and lead time.
