dc.description.abstractThis project presents the design of two types of bandpass filters parallel-coupled bandpass filter and hairpin filter. The filter is designed for a center frequency of 2.44 GHz with 100MHz operating bandwidth. The design process included creating a lumped element prototype, which was transformed into the parallel coupled and hairpin microstrip form after verification by simulation. After both of the filters were also design and verified by using Advanced Design System (ADS), the fabrication of the filter began on ROGER 4003C substrate. The fabricated filters were analyzed using a network analyzer for testing. The design procedure, simulated results and measured results are discussed in the remaining part of the report.en_US
