dc.description.abstractThis is the report of Final Year Project titled Human Resource Management - Performance Appraisal System. This report consists of five chapters including introduction, literature review, methodology, result and discussions, and conclusion. One of the most difficult challenges faced by managers nowadays is how to distinguish between good, average and poor performers. Performance appraisal system might help to solve this problem. Performance appraisal is a formal, structured system that compares employee performance to established standards. Assessment of job performance is shared with employees being appraised through one of several primary methods of performance appraisals. Elements in performance appraisal methods are tailored to the organization's employees, jobs, and structure. They include objective criteria for measuring employee performance and ratings that summarize how well the employee is doing. This project is designed and implemented a performance appraisal system for all levels of staff in a company that will increase individual and organizational capability to support high performance goals. This project is about Software Engineering.en_US
