Abstract: This project studies the E-Business Application System on Office Equipment website. Electronic business (e-business) can be defined as the organized effort of individuals to produce and sell, for a profit, products and services that satisfy society‟s needs through the facilities available on the Internet. In today‟s fast growing demand of electronic transactions, with more people accessing the Internet worldwide, online shopping becomes an increasingly profitable. Through E-Business application system, Office Equipment website can provide shopping online. Furthermore, it also able to reach much wider consumer and this business can expand for relatively low cost. Now, there are so many organizations that involved in e- business such as Yahoo! (www.yahoo.com), eBay (www.ebay.com), and MP3 (www.mp3.com). Developing E-Business for office equipment is relevant because it is no hassle and no restriction. Users can buy office equipment at anywhere and anytime. Other than that, this website provides more choices compare than shopping at the shop. This system actually approach to the software engineering method in developing process. To develop Office Equipment website, Macromedia Dreamweaver 8.0 software was used to work together with MySQL databases while the web server that have been used is Apache server.
