dc.description.abstractBooking Lecture Rooms and Labs Management System is a web application that is developed to automate the currently manual system so that it is more effective and systematic. The combination of different lecture rooms and labs with different sizes and equipment, the possibility to choose between different dates and times and place without causes the double bookings is the reason why a good booking system is needed in order to make this task as easy as possible. This system is developed by using PHP and MySQL as a database. Booking Lecture Rooms and Labs Management System maximizes the usage of lecture rooms and labs and facilities within Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) by increasing efficiency while eliminating double bookings. This system is unique as it is integrate with the current time table so that lecture rooms or labs that free can only be booked. Thus, by using this system, the problems that occurred such as double bookings in the lecture rooms or labs can be avoided. Thereby, once the system is developed, it would beneficial for the Unit Bantuan Kemudahan Akademik UniMAP (UBKA) that functions to manage the bookings for lecture rooms and labs.en_US
