Abstract: MIMO is defined as Multiple Input Multiple Output systems have multiple antennas at both links at transmitter and receiver. Based on the research that has been done for this project, MIMO system has the capability to increase the capacity in wireless communication environment. All of the information’s regarding to the project had been studied before being applied in the simulation. In the making of those simulations, certain parameters have to be put in one account like Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR), bandwidth and the numbers of antenna that used to simulate. The simulation output of MIMO channels capacity has been analyzed and studied before make the conclusion. The simulation outputs under MIMO show capacity increase exponentially due to the number of antenna at transmitter and receiver. Using a simulation tool, MATLAB, is a fast and reliable method for technical computing to analyze MIMO systems concept at the distribution system where problems and solutions are expressed in familiar mathematical notation.
