Abstract: Facial paralysis has been primarily concerned recently because as human beings, non-verbal communication relies on facial expression that will reveal our innermost feelings. Facial paralysis is the disability of communication. The most cause of this paralysis is Bell’s palsy which is about 50 % of the cases. This review provides the important elements in Bell’s palsy which covered the history of Bell’s palsy and the reported cases are about 13 to 30 per 100,000 populations. Symptoms stated in this review as to recognize the Bell’s palsy such as pain in ear, numbness of face and excess in tear. Steroids are given as the treatment with the other treatments like surgical decompression, botullinum toxin, and facial exercises.
