Abstract: Lung is one of the most crucial part in human body. Ever since the invention of stethoscope, lung auscultation had been very important ever since. By listening to lung sound, lung diseases can be detected and monitored successfully. Lung sounds can be classified into normal or adventitious sounds. Throughout this paper, various types of lung sound such as wheezes, crackles, etc will be presented on how they differ from each other and what made them special by only listening to them, medical personnel can detect the present of lung diseases such asthma, pulmonary edema and many else. Auscultation procedures will also be presented in the paper. This paper aimed to provide a simple review for new non-clinical researcher to have a rough idea on lung sounds auscultation.
