The correlation between transformative leadership toward dimensions of competitiveness of electrical and electronic SME's at northern corridor economic region (NCER)

Abstract

Transformational leadership is a leader who transforms its followers into leaders themselves. Transformational leaders help follower grow and develop into leaders by responding to the needs of each of the individual followers. This is accomplished through the empowerment and aligning the objectives as well as the goals of individual followers, the leader, the group, and the organization at large. This research was conducted using the quantitative method whereby the questionnaires were distributed to the respondents. In this research, the descriptive and inferential method was used to identify the correlation transformative leadership toward dimension of competitiveness of Electrical and Electronic (E&E) SME at Northern region of Malaysia. Generally, the result from correlation analysis showed that there are four factors which has a significant relation in the transformative leadership.
