Malaysian Technical Universities Conference on Engineering and Technology (MUCET) 2012 organised by technical universities under the Malaysian Technical Universities Network (MTUN), 20th - 21st November 2012 at Hotel Seri Malaysia, Kangar, Perlis.en_US
This paper describes an overview of the key component in coordinated multipoint in the context of LTE-Advanced which includes architectures and approaches that can be employed. Most of the ideas presented are presently being studied and may diverge throughout the standardization work. A system model is proposed to employ the cooperative communication in interference-limited scenario which may help to improve the cell-edge performance.en_US
