Abstract: One microcontroller 8051 board, one RF transmitter, one RF receive and three servo motors are used in this project. RF signal is used as the medium connection between the RF transmitter and the RF receiver. Digital signals are generated to use as signals that being transmitted by the transmitter. The distance between the RF transmitter and the RF receiver should be almost 100 m to transmit the signals. The input signals for the controller unit should control 3 motors in horizontal, vertical and circular motion pathway. For this project design, it is divided into two parts which are software development and hardware development. For software design part, student need to know basic assembly language and should be able to write the code and understand the project flow. The program written is being loaded into the 8051 microcontroller board and interface the board with RF module and servo motors. While in the hardware part, student need to understand the RF signal and how the RF signals transmitted by the transmitter and received by the receiver. The understanding of the relationship of pulse width to servomotor position such as how the pulse controls the position of the servomotor shaft also need to be done. Student gained knowledge on how to design and develops an operation RF module, microcontroller 8051 board and servo motors through this project.
