Abstract: | The term “virtual reality” is no longer strange to most of us due to its involvement in entertainment, modern film production and computer gaming. The development of flight simulator in the last decade has received great compliments from aviation academy, hence triggered the interest among the researchers to shift these idea and technology into the medical sector. This paper reviewed the implementation of virtual reality in the architecture of medical training simulators. The study focused on haptic interface, graphical user interface and anatomical modeling, which are the main area of the simulation system. |
