Abstract: Fly Ash geopolymer bricks is one of the alkali activated material. Bricks are the only man-made building materials that testify to their use since the early human civilization. Since fly ash is being accumulated as waste material in large quantity near thermal power plants and creating serious environmental pollution problems, its utilisation as main raw material in the manufacture of bricks will not only create ample opportunities for its proper and useful disposal but also help in environmental pollution control. It can be produced by chemical process which originates from dissolution of aluminate and silicate species in the alkaline activator solutions. The development of fly ash geopolymer bricks can lead to the positive mechanical and structural properties that can be very useful in producing an excellent alternative construction material. This paper briefly reviews the constituents of fly ash geopolymer bricks, design, and properties obtained from geopolymer bricks, fly ash bricks and fly ash geopolymer bricks.
