In this paper, the development of a new low cost DataGlove system based on fingertip bending tracking techniques is presented as an alternative to expensive devices. The purpose of the research is to design a robust and flexible control for fingers by a deterministic approach. To ensure that the finger movements can be recorded, flexible bend sensor will be used as a key intermediate of the process to track the fingertip positions and orientations. By tracking the various movements of fingertip, collection of data resulting from the movement of fingers will be gathered and analyzed to produce a realistic application of resistive interfaces. To determine the bending angles of the finger, the paper also propose a method of constructing the shape or bending of the fingers for the estimated number of studies. The bending angles of resistive interfaces can transform into theoretical formulation especially for intermediate and proximal phalanges of index finger.en_US
