Abstract: Variety of rock types have differrent properties and characteristics and make the different potential for industries applications. The aim of this project is mainly to investigate the characterization of rock aggregate from five quarries selected in Perlis and recommended the appropriate application based on the data obtained. From the studied the results showed that most of the rock aggregate from the selected quarry are highly contains of lime stone, silica and also dolomite which has various application in the manufacturing of glass, metal, cement and agriculture which not just only round formulation for aggregate as economic filler.
