Abstract: Seed sludge from rubber industry wastewater treatment plant was used. Aerobic granular sludge was cultured in sequencing batch reactor (SBR) which was operated with total cycle of 4 hours. It was fed with rubber wastewater with inconsistent organic loading. After 34 days operation, settling velocity increases from 0.98 cm/s to 2.49 cm/s, the average diameter distribution of granules ranged from 2 mm to 4 mm. COD removal efficiency was at constant level of 78-98% remova
