Abstract: This project focused on case study of a linear generator as wave energy converter. The types of linear generator focus in this study which is suitable on wave which is turbular permanent magnet. There are various models on design of Linear Generator is farm size comparison, and wave energy plant. Investigate the simulation design by using Finite Element Method (FEM). In order to analyze the behavior and performance of linear generator for ocean wave energy conversion, the analysis data for case study of a linear generator as wave energy converter is based on Meteorological Department, Sabah. By completing this project, the analyses have been observed whereby Linear Generator is possible to use in Malaysia based on the magnetic power and wave energy produce in Sabah, Malaysia.
