Abstract: A biotelemetry system using wireless is designed. The system is design to evaluate simultaneous measurement of blood pressure, ECG and temperature using wireless for biomedical applications. The low cost system is designed and capable for long term accurate monitoring of the required readings. Details of the systems design consists of several stages. The stages are divided into software and hardware. For hardware, devices such as multiplexer, wireless RF transmitter and receiver module and demultiplexer is used to build a low cost biotelemetry system. Multiplexer and demultiplexer is constructed by using basic gate logic integrated circuits. A wireless RF transmitter and receiver is used to send signals via wireless. For software, Visual Basic 6 is used as an interface for the hardware to interact with a computer. The expected result is the capability of 3 different frequencies or signal waveform that represents blood pressure, ECG and temperature to be displayed when it is selected sent via wireless. Only one data can be send at a time.
