Nowadays, agro-waste biomass have become the new grossing trends in bioconversion research including in bioprotein production due to increasing of demands and .The conventional protein which require higher cost of production could be potentially replaced by bioprotein. The palm oil’s empty fruit bunch (EFB) had been selected as the raw material in this research. The nutritional value and cheaper carbon source of its composition had become an interest for further study in the bioprotein production through solid state fermentation (SSF). Aspergillus terreus is the filamentous fungus had been chosen due its ability to produce cellulose enzyme which to degrade cellulose content of the EFB. The performance of selected parameter with varied substrate concentration ,inoculums size and temperature were generated by Design Expert® software. Analyzing of the response had been observed by absorbance reading of UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. The maximum response obtained are at substrate concentration of 50 w/v%, inoculums size 15 w/v% and temperature 35oC is 0.855 mg/mL bioprotein at five days of fermentation.en_US
