dc.description.abstractThis project presents the design, analysis, and development of an autotransformer to producing the output voltage range in 6V, 12V, 24V, 50V, 100V, 125V, 150V and 200V with the rated power of 1.5kVA. The design should be included the winding and core design. For the coil design of autotransformer is select the number of turns of coils and proceed further toward estimating the coil configuration till arriving at the window height of the core frame. Further, the core diameter, core area, flux density, window width and height are calculated with the design output available. The next step of the design is the formation of coil diameter and limb centre of core. Working details of low voltage and high voltage winding, tapping, placements and internal clearances are also done. Finally, the test like polarity test, ratio test, opencircuit test, short-circuit test, and load test ware carry out. Lastly, analyze the result from the tests and compare with calculation results and count the tolerance.en_US
