Abstract: The purpose of this project is to research and design a Direct Current (DC) to Alternating Current (AC) inverter. This inverter is design to create 240 Volt (V) AC with 1000 Watt maximum output. The output of this inverter is for high current application such as refrigerator, water heater and air-conditioning. In theory, this inverter will convert the DC to AC. The current created from this circuit will get its high current and voltage by using the control circuit, power circuit and step-up transformer according to output voltage that needed. This circuit is power and charge from 12 VDC battery that gets its power from wind turbine and solar power. The power from the battery will be send to the inverter circuit to step-up the voltage to 240 VAC with high power and current for any application that need high current to operate.
