This project is developed to produce 24 V DC by photovoltaic and wind power hybrid system using smart relay. The smart relay SR3 B261JD from Schneider Electric is used to operate as controller that will choose the highest voltage produced between photovoltaic and wind. Three type of circuits have been constructed for this project which are pulse width modulation for signal processing, full bridge converter stage topology for power processing and also solar charger to store the energy into the battery; as secondary source. The step up transformer 24 – 240 V, 50 VA is connected to the AC output to produce 240 V sinusoidal waveform while 6 W lamp is used as a load. Based on the results obtained, the voltage produced averagely up to 35 V. The usage of battery clearly assists in providing high reliability and good probability. Observation on weather behavior also been made because this system can work better with the presence of appropriate weather.en_US
