Abstract: Interleaved Boost converters are important for highinput current and high-power applications. However, increasing numbers of switching component will increase the complexity of the converter model. In this article a modeling of the interleaved boost converter by using an state space averaging model analysis is presented. With thorough analysis of the operating principle of the converter, eight equivalent sub-circuits conditions for continuous conduction mode (CCM) are developed. The effectiveness of the model is verified by simulations of a study system in the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment.
