In this paper, the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) inside the head due to metallic spectacle is investigated. Computer simulation using CST Microwave Studio is used in this investigation. A dipole antenna operated at 900MHz for GSM application is used in the simulation model represent as a radiation source from mobile phone. In parametric studies the maximum 3D gain of dipole plotted by varying its location in y-and z-axis. In order to study the relation of antenna locations and RF energy absorbed in human head, the maximum gain compared with the SAR levels in SAM phantom head. The results presented here may find potential application in wireless communication design field especially for evaluating the compatibility and power absorption in a bio-medium and an anatomical study for evaluating SAR in the human face.en_US
