Abstract: It is known that, common chicken roaster grilling machine is associated with uncomfortable working environment where the worker is exposed to heat and excessive smoke. The quality and consistency of the finish products will depend on the skill of the worker. The purpose of this project is to design a chicken roaster grilling machine with large space and less pollution system. This design can serve eight to twelve chickens at one time. For the heat element, it used coil. So, it can reduce pollution. The design includes the material selection, component selection, and chain-sprocket calculation. The chain-sprocket system should be suitable for the machine. From the calculation, number of sprocket teeth, sprocket diameter, and chain length can be determined.
