dc.description.abstractA researched project was designed in order to study the stabilization of production rate for plastic product (single CD) by using injection moulding machine. The study was carried out by identifying the operating parameters of an injection moulding machine that could affect the production quantity and quality of plastic products. The project is studied on shorten the cycle time, fill time, plasticizing time and maximization the production rate. Therefore, the basic understanding on injection machine and its injection process must be learnt before starting experiments. Then, obtain the optimum combination of operating parameters which is able to increased productivity and produce the high quality product. A production system consists of some major facilities such as factory, production machines, material handling equipments and inspection equipments with support by workers that handle manufacturing control. Further research was then conducted on the improvements study concerns in manufacturing facilities (machine operations) and productivity which directly proportion to profit.en_US
