Abstract: The predicting of different stator slot sizes on flux distribution in three phase induction motor is presented. For both stator models, the maximum flux density is found near the tooth tip and minimum towards the outer region of the stator core, but give the different values of flux density between different stator slot sizes. The 2D finite element method is used to analyze the flux distribution in induction motor.
