Abstract: | Nowadays, laptop has become popular because its reliability but in a size that easily to carry. Unfortunately, the operating temperature from the laptop is not good for long-term life of the laptop and its performance become poor when it gets hot. One of the solutions for this problem is notebook cooling pad but the efficiency is doubted. The purpose for this project is to find the design that will efficiently help cooling the laptop. Firstly, one survey was conducted between 20 laptop’s users for better understanding what they need in notebook cooling pad. From survey, Quality Functional Deployment will be used for better understanding what costumer need in term of technical. Next, using power consumption of laptop component and Mobmeter software, heat from laptop will be measured. By using Solidworks for design notebook cooling pad and EFD for heat transfer analysis, this project will find the most optimum design and efficiency. |
