This paper describes the utilizing of ferroelectric materials in antenna application. The proposed of ferroelectric materials are Barium Strontium Titanate (BST) and Bismuth Titanate (BiT). BST, with dielectric constant of r = 15 and BiT with r = 21 of dielectric constant are formed in rectangular shaped. The influence of various parameters on antenna characteristics were investigated extensively using commercial electromagnetic simulation software by Computer Simulation Technology (CST). From both simulated and measured analysis, it was demonstrated that ferroelectric materials have not only improved the gain and directive emission but also enhance the radiation efficiency. The results obtained also show that ferroelectric materials are suitable for Access Points operating in the WLAN IEEE 802.11 b/g and WiMAX IEEE 802.16 within the range of 2.3 GHz to 2.5 GHz application.en_US
