Abstract: | This thesis reports the design and implement of a relatively inexpensive, but versatile and experimental of range meter controlled suitable for use in either a research or educational setting. The project is nearing completion and hardware tests are now being conducted. Ultrasonic Range meter is designed to manipulate simple objects in a real-world environment. This Ultrasonic Range meter use ultrasonic sensor where it control and process using PIC16F876 microcontroller. The input data and send the data to the liquid crystal display (LCD). This range meter functioning, when the wave from the transmitter transmits to the hard object and the reflection was received by the receiver. The PIC16F876 process the wave and display the distance via LCD display. The Ultrasonic Range Meter can detect the 4 centimetre for the minimum range and the 340centimtre for the maximum. Ultrasonic range meter using 5 Volt to start functioning. |
