Abstract: Mobility for the blind is always a great problem. They always need assistance from people around to move to the place that they want to. The present method like a walking stick is effective but restricted them from moving around in a different place and location. In this project, a navigation tools that can help them to move around in area a designed. The hardware utilizing an infrared sensor to guide the user is designed. The communication between the transmitter and the receiver is done by an infrared signal. Modification, improvement and correction of the previous designed hardware are done to suit the functionality of the system. Simulation and verification for both transmitter and receiver is done to verify the hardware is function perfectly.
