Abstract: Nowadays, many countries have shifted to green technology due to energy security and global warming issues. Malaysia has also introduced the National Green Technology Policy in 2009 to improve the green energy contribution in National Grid. Statistical data of renewable energy sources that contributed by biomass ,landfill gas and mini hydro that connected to National Grid is 252 MW was without the projection of grid-connected wind farms. This is due to most of the wind turbines in the market are limited for class 5 and 6 winds whereas Malaysia has abundant source of wind energy with class 2 to 4 that are ready to reconsider the wind turbine technology. Thus, this project will introduce magnetic pitched wind turbine that can reduce cut in wind speed of the wind turbine with unique magnetic levitation design that can assist the best aerodynamic wind blades which can capture the low wind speed as low as 1 m/s.
