Two-way automobile traffic must be supported by a single lane road, such as on narrow bridges in the country, roads under repair, and other narrow streets to prevent road jammed and car accident. To control the two-way traffic in this single lane requires special traffic signals at each end of the single lane road that allow traffic to move in one direction for a period of time. The purpose of this project is to design a one-lane traffic light controller using Quartus II and implemented in Altera’s FPGA board. This procedure of the design is starting with source code and compiles the code using software. The simulation and output waveform is reveal within this software. Output come from this waveform is downloaded into the FPGA board and testifying the project workout through LED.en_US
