The effect of temperature on adsorption of reactive orange (R016) by cross-linked chitosan/oil palm ash composite beads was investigated. Temperature studied from range 30 to 50 °C. It was observed that the uptake of this dye increased with increasing in temperature. Results revealed that sorptions of reactive orange (R016) on cross-linked chitosan/oil palm ash composite beads was endotermic in nature. Thermodynamics parameters such as entrophy change, entalphy change and Gibb's free energy were found out to be 41.07 J/mol.K, 6.78 kJ/mol and -5.59 to - 6.57 kJ/mol, respectively.en_US
