Abstract: In this paper, a new elliptic curve cryptosystem is proposed with the security of this cryptosystem is based on the elliptic curve discrete logarithm problem (ECDLP). The proposed scheme needs 59 1 MUL H T T + and 30 1 MUL H T T + for the encryption and decryption algorithms respectively. The scheme needs one public key and one secret key and the communication cost of the scheme is 2 q . This cryptosystem was build to add to the collection of elliptic curve cryptosystem based on ECDLP and as an alternative for users apart from the existing cryptosystems. The estimated computational speed for the encryption scheme is 49.15% and for the decryption scheme is 96.67% .
