Abstract: | Redundancy optimization of k-out-of-n:G system with Common-Cause Failures (CCF) are often determined by two things, level of cost (mean cost rate) of the resulting system configuration and the failure rate of each unit in the system. Determination of the optimal number of redundant units in the system k-out-of-n, can be determined in two ways, without the inspection period, and with determining the inspection period. Both determination of the number of redundant units provide an average level of costs vary, because there are additional inspection costs on the system. In this research, we interested to learn further that inspection cost have an effect on determination of number of redundant units significantly. |
