Covering extended building sets

Abstract

Recently, the concept of abelian difference sets received many attentions because of it applications in coding theory and digital communication. Difference sets are important in design theory because a (),,vkλ−difference set in an abelian group is equivalent to a symmetric (G),,vkλ−design with a regular automorphism group . Recently Davis and Jedwab introduced the notion of covering extended building sets to construct abelian difference sets. In this paper, we perform an extensive study on covering extended building sets.
