This project research is to design and simulation the hull of high speed mud boat. Mud boat is type of boat that used for travel on muddy surface for transporting purpose and another’s purposed that widely used at foreign country. In Malaysia the mud boat not too very popular because there is no manufactures are built it for market selling. Until the MMEA (MALAYSIA MARITIME ENFORCEMENT AGENCY) was proposed the boat that can travel in high speed on muddy surface in early of year 2015 to Ministry of Defence. They wanted this kind of boat can capability to operating in low tide and high tide that conventional boat can’t be operational. MMEA want to use this boat for guarding along the coastline area of Malaysia for preventing a treats from enemies. The design of mud boat are was take some consideration such as the shape of hull, the material used for built it and how to minimized the drag force that acting at the bottom of the hull that will be caused boat speed performance decreased. The design was design in computer software called CATIA V5 and simulated the design in FMEA (finite material element analysis) in CATIA V5. Then, the flow of fluid simulation or called CFD (computational fluid dynamics) was conduct in Solidworks simulation software to analyse the flow flowing of fluid passing through the hull structure. At the end of simulation, the factors that affects the hull performance are determined.en_US
