| Abstract: | Matrix converter is a powerful ACAC
converter for the application of induction
motor drives with sinusoidal input currents and no
DC-link capacitor. It offers remarkable
advantages over other alternatives in applications
requiring improved utility interaction and critical
weight/volume reduction. This paper presents a
performance analysis of the direct and indirect
control techniques of matrix converter. As
comparison criterion of the different strategies
that the Total Harmonic Distortion (THD), the
efficiency of the converter and their modulation
techniques for the implementation of the
strategies. The feasibility of the proposed
technique has been verified from simulation and
the output voltage and the input current generated
by the model of converter. |
